Driving experience in USA

Today we will be showing photographs of some driving scenery taken from inside the car. As you may realize that it is left-hand drive which is different from Singapore. So, it is a matter of getting use of telling yourself of doing the opposite like slow lane is on the right side instead of left. You will definitely need have the orientation of left to be right and right to be left kind of driving on the road.

That’s all for today. We will be back again for more photographs shown in USA. If you had been to California, USA then we would love to hear your comments about this place.

Side Note:

As of 14 June 2020 morning, the number of infection cases have risen to 7,860,748 while the death rates are now 432,200. If you compared with 2 days ago at 7,458,646 cases, it does not seem to be under control in some countries after easing on the restriction. Therefore, we sincerely hope that people will come to realize that regardless whether or not your Government is easing on the restriction, you have to take all necessary precaution of wearing mask & do social distancing from others while in public. This is the most basic precaution you should be taking under any circumstances without fail. That will in return safeguard not only yourself but to others who are in close contacts while in public. Never let your guard down even your Government has relaxed on the restriction as economy starts to open up.

Just do it from today onward! It will be the new norm in life with COVID-19.

In Singapore, we can see that our Government is stepping up with all sorts of precautions which is like Work-In-Progress since we do not really know what really works when the restriction starts to ease down after Circuit Breaker. We do understand that there is no foolproof plan that will work for all instances but much like trial an error kind of implementation. Of course there maybe some form of conflicts with implementation which might not be satisfying to everyone. At times, people might even get a little confused about the Phase 1 for businesses with regard to who can be opened and who cannot operate. There is no right or wrong way of doing thing as it is first time experience of such deadly virus unlike during the SARS period which was controllable.

No matter what plans are implemented, we the people should do the most basic precaution of wearing masks & doing social distancing from others in public. Plus washing our hands with soap frequently as to remove any virus before touching your eyes, nose or mouth while in public. Also, as far as possible during this period to isolate yourself whenever it is permitted so you can actually reduce the transmission of human to human. Let us all do our parts to help eliminate further spreading of contact between human to human. Be more civic minded when you are traveling in public and try not to join in the crowded places. As long as each of us take care of our own personal hygiene, it will definitely helps to reduce the chances of spreading through contacts.

Lastly, we sincerely do hope everyone can take these simple advice as how we can help one another to avoid further spreading in community. As long as there are unknown sources of infection, it is still very dangerous to be in public.

  1. Wearing masks whenever you are in public as a preventive measures.
  2. Washing hands with soap frequently as to eliminate the virus staying on your hands.
  3. Do social distancing from others as it helps to prevent the spread of infection without close contact.
  4. Do not touch your eyes, nose and mouth before you wash your hands with soap as it will be the source of entry for the virus to get you infected.
  5. If you need to sneeze, please use a tissue or otherwise bend your elbow and sneeze in between there.
  6. Should you have fever, cough and shortness of breathe, please do consult a doctor. Remember to wear mask when doing so.
  7. In order for more effective contact tracing, please do download the TraceTogether app for those who are staying in Singapore. This will actually eliminate those unknown sources as well as allow you to be informed should you be exposed to someone having the infection.

Thousand Arms Kuanyin

That’s all for our sightseeing in Taipei at the temple. We sincerely hope you have enjoyed viewing them and if you had been to Taiwan and visiting Temple, please kindly do share with us your comments as we love to hear them.

Side Note:

In Singapore, we are now in Phase 1 of the COVID-19 situation after the end of Circuit Breaker and it is kind of important kind of trial we all are going through in life since it will become a new norm in future. What it means? Well, we are most likely unable to go through life as we used to be without worrying about viruses since now COVID-19 can just simply infect us through human to human contact. Lifestyle needs to be changed and our approach in daily routine need to be much more cautions as not to further spread this disease since some of us can be asymptomatic without knowing of this infection.

How can we tackle this problem?

Stick to the simple rule of isolation whenever possible otherwise wearing masks & do social distancing from one another will be the current cure of prevention. If we can get 100% cooperation from each other then we will no longer fear against it as this can avoid from getting human to human transmission. As long as we do our parts to have it under control then things will definitely get better slowly in phases. Please do not rush as being hastily will result seeing 2nd wave of COVID-19 attack since we all know that it is still lingering on among us. Careful planning as we take each step in our daily life so we do not create another wave of attack by COVID-19.

Unity is strength against COVID-19.

We need to be one people as to fight against COVID-19 and help one another to prevent further spreading as far as possible with our actions. Knowing what are the right steps and precautions to take, we must be totally agreeable to carry out this task. Then we will be able to witness further drop of infections worldwide. Every action you take will result in the reaction of it. So, when you do your part in prevention, you will be see a drop of cases but it requires 100% of people worldwide to do it then we will be able to have drastic reduction as a result. If not then we will still see the continuation of this virus spreading from one human to another. Now is the time we should disregard of race, language or religion and help one another to overcome this crisis together as one people. Through this trial of battle against COVID-19, we hope everyone will start to realize that we are all just humans and able to live together harmoniously as a community like those days in the past where we lived in Kampong. We really missed those good old days where everyone lived happily together.

We like to thank those health care people who sacrifice themselves to be in the front lines as to help people who are infected with the virus while they battle against it. Without their selfless effort, we might be in great danger from the COVID-19. Let us all give them our support and praises to keep going with this fight! Thumbs up!

Once again, we really hope to get 100% people support in abiding these guidelines as it can help prevent further spreading and help to save lives especially for those elderly and preexisting health conditions who are most critical when expose to this deadly virus.

  1. Wearing masks whenever you are in public as a preventive measures.
  2. Washing hands with soap frequently as to eliminate the virus staying on your hands.
  3. Do social distancing from others as it helps to prevent the spread of infection without close contact.

China Trip Part 6

Here are more photographs taken during the China trip. Again, we hope that you will have an enjoyable time viewing them and it is definitely a beautiful place to visit when you have the opportunity to do so.

It was fun day to visit the school and watching those performances by students. We loved the time that we had spent during this period while we were in China. Indeed it was quite an adventure and such a wonderful place to visit for holidays. If you had been to China, please do share your comments with us as we love to hear from you.

Side Note: As the world is facing the COVID-19 pandemic, it sadden us to hear the news about xenophobia that is going on in some countries. At this time, we as human beings should be UNITED and fight against this deadly virus instead of scaremongering. This is indeed very sad to even hearing or reading about the news of such incidents. We are merely human beings though there are different in culture or races, should be helping one another in time of crisis to battle with the pandemic instead. It is wrong to start pointing fingers to blame for the cause of pandemic as we should be putting all our resources together as one people to help solving the issue.

We are all intelligent beings and should be more rational when comes to handle this type of crisis and not to be quick in making excuses. Tackling the problems we are facing might encounter some sorts of obstacles as mistakes can be made but importantly, we need to correct ourselves and move on with better solution. No one can actually guarantee that whatever action taken will be the right choice but instead of blaming the bad decision, we should proceed with the next better step to control or avert this pandemic. Learn from the mistake and carry on forward is what we need to know.

From the view of the current situation, we feel that it is important for everyone to maintain social distancing and isolation which will be the best cure at the moment until the vaccine cure is made available. Till such time, we have to abide by these rules in order to keep ourselves & loved ones safe. Enforcement of rules have to be strict and serious as not allowing people to flout the law.

Once again, we believe we should stick to some basic rules as to keep ourselves and others to be safe in current COVID-19 pandemic situation. Hope everyone will take good care and be blessed in good health!

  1. Washing your hands with soap often as to get rid of it on your hands.
  2. Avoid touching your face like nose, mouth & eyes unless you have just washed your hands.
  3. Isolation or quarantine together as a country at the same time to eliminate further spreading from human to human.
  4. Wear masks if need to be in public and keep social distancing from others to avoid being infected.
  5. If you have fever, cough and difficulty in breathing, please wear mask before consulting a doctor.
  6. If need to cough or sneeze, use a tissue paper or your elbow to conceal it.
  7. Download the contact tracing app in Singapore to eliminate unknown sources who maybe infected with COVID-19.
