Past, Present & Future in Singapore

We are happy of our past where Lee Kuan Yew had built Singapore as what it is now. We are also grateful for the present as our Government has been doing what is right for the people. Now we look forward into the future for our younger generations to benefit with the right mindset of guidance in building Singapore as a nation.

With the continuing rise of COVID-19 worldwide, we are fortunate that after several different approach of measures, we are considered to be in good hands. But we must never be complacent since there are still unknown sources that still lurking in the community which can be a disaster when we let our guards down. Overall, we are most happy to say that our Government has done a good job with measures against COVID-19 though facing some hiccups at the initial stages. Let face it, we are all humans therefore mistakes can happen but important thing is to learn from it and be better. We always remembered the young days when we learnt to walk and we did fell several times but never gave up and continue to stand up to walk. For every failure, it will be a lesson learnt to be better the next time.

In life, we need to look at the bigger picture and into the future for what we want it to be. From the past, present and to the future (still unknown), we are truly grateful for what the Government has brought us to be where we are now. Personally, what we look at the Government will be having a vision of the future down the road in 10 or more years as they help to build our country. It has to be a step by step foundation towards a brighter and better future for the younger generations.

Our views are that the positions in Government are not that rosy as they have to make alot of sacrifices in their lives in order to achieve what we are having right now. We like to congratulate and giving our thanks to them for making Singapore as what it is right now and further down the road. It is never an easy job for those who are taking up this job in the Government.

Since election is around the corner, we hope that each and everyone of us to consider wholeheartedly what you want for your future and making your vote counts. It is an important job for you to make the right decision of who can bring Singapore into the future for the next 10 or more years as it will transform itself with the effort from the right Government who will manage it. Be clear headed as who you want to lead us in the future and not letting your emotion hinders the right decision. We need people who can undertake this important position with the right mindset to do the job. Think over with your head and not to be stirred up with emotion as we need the right people to guide and build a better nation into the future. One has to have future plans as how we are going ahead for the next few years as it helps the younger generations to benefit with it.

Lastly, we sincerely hope everyone will remain vigilant against COVID-19 and continue to wear masks & social distancing while in public. Also not forgetting to wash hands with soap frequently especially before touching your eyes, nose and mouth. Help yourself as you can help others to avoid getting this infection.

Be blessed with good health and take care of your loved ones!

Experiment with OSIM Well-being 3D scan

It was a fun day at Changi Airport and we did a test with OSIM well-being 3D scan just for fun. It was quite interesting as you just need to be standing on the device where it would rotate round to do the complete scan of your body’s feature. It would then output on the system where it captured your details of weight, body mass, etc. If you ever been to the Changi Airport, you may want to give it a try and find out a little more about your health conditions.

Well, that’s all for today’s topic and we will update another day of fun. We hope you have enjoyed this and please do share with us your comments if you had tried it before.

Side note:

Every day when we read about the world news for COVID-19, it saddens our hearts as many people have suffered and died because of this deadly virus. It is also sad to know some people are still not convinced of its danger and continue to disregard the safety measures thus putting all of us in grave situation. No matter what you maybe thinking or hearing, the best advice for everyone is to try staying at home if possible otherwise take the necessary precautions like wearing masks and doing social distancing while in public. In addition, please kindly do wash your hands with soap frequently especially when you need to touch your eyes, nose and mouth as we understand that it is the entry point for the virus into your body. Please help yourself as you can help others to avoid getting this deadly infection. Spread the words to as many people as you can via Internet, social media, emails, etc without any physical contact.

Be bonded as a community of people and carry out the right mindset to prevent any further spreading of this virus. It is more of a human war against this virus and we are the only person who can contain it without endangering others just with isolation. Keep in mind that you will be doing a good deed by keeping yourself & loved ones to be safe from this COVID-19. Every action will result a reaction so if one can safely maintain a good habit of doing the right thing, then we all can be safer in return. So, please try to be more civic minded in the matter as it involves every person in this world. Your caring for this matter will be greatly rewarded with good health and free from COVID-19.

In Singapore, we are grateful that our Government is going to supply us with the contact tracing device which will help to reduce the amount of unknown sources. As we all know that these unknown sources of people will be the most dangerous since we can be in contact with them without being aware of it. So, with this device, it does help to reduce the workload of contact tracing and eliminate the unknown sources as much as possible. These unknown sources can be those who are asymptomatic and are carriers therefore with this device, we will be able to narrow down our contacts while in public.

Thumbs Up!

We sincerely hope that every country will take good initiative to do what is right for the people and prevent this spreading. Be blessed with good health and take care of yourself & loved ones!

Delicious chicken wings & thigh

Chicken wings using oven bake

Since we are now under Phase 2 of the COVID-19, it is good to do some of the home cooking and experimenting with my skill. Surprisingly, we found that this particular recipe to do the seasoning seemed to prove great. It was slight crispy and quite tasty in a way.

More chicken wings
Chicken thighs with egg mayo, bacon and mash potato

Well, it was indeed a very nice and pleasant meals that could be cooked at home since it would be better to do so due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Side note:

In Singapore, we are now going through Phase 2 of the COVID-19 restriction and more businesses and schools are opening up. We need to bear in mind that COVID-19 is still very dangerous especially we understand that there are still cases of unknown sources who are in the community. As a preventive measure, we must always guard ourselves with wearing masks & social distancing while in public. As the saying goes: Prevention is better than safe. And also better safe than sorry since we do not really know who are the people that are asymptomatic and will be able to spread this virus. It will definitely be helpful if everyone can cooperate among ourselves to equip with the contact tracing app so that we can totally eliminate those unknown sources and keep everyone safe. It maybe a difficult task since everyone’s mind is different in thoughts and mostly those who are resisting will not abide to simple rules of prevention.

We sincerely hope that all Singaporeans will do their parts and can be a little Kiasu in this situation so everyone can be safe against the COVID-19. Remember that simple task like wearing masks & do social distancing from others in public can be an effective preventive cure against infection. Also by washing your hands with soap frequently especially before touching your eyes, nose and mouth will help to avoid infection. These are little things we all can actually do and it will help to avoid spreading among our community. A little effort by each and everyone will go a long way!

Reading about the world news as countries relaxing on restrictions had ended up rising of COVID-19 infection since people tend to be complacent about the matter and not knowing how dangerous it can be in terms of infection spreading. Seriously speaking, we must continue the basic preventive measures no matter what sort of restrictions that are easing off and this will eventually help a lot of us to eliminate or reduce infection. We must never stop doing the basic precaution until getting the vaccine cure to prevent any sort of spreading.

Let us cooperate 100% to fight against this deadly virus!

Be blessed with good health and take care of yourself & loved ones.
