This entry is actually going to be one of those boring ones because I seem to not be able to cough up much to type about. So I’m going to translate a email that was sent to me. It was in Chinese.

Anyway, its about WHAT WOMEN REALLY WANT FROM THEIR MAN

1) A guy doesn’t act like a jerk to his girlfriend in front of his friends just because he wants to seem cool.

2) Trustworthy

3) Never late for an appointment and wouldn’t blame her when she’s late.

4) Hugs her tightly and for a very long time that sometimes it feels like she has to pry your fingers to make you stop

5) Says her name in his sleep (NOT THE WRONG NAME)

6) Remembers her birthday and the day they met and all the little details like her shoe size

7) Never laughing at her no matter what she does (this does include when she screams at seeing cockroaches ok!)

8 ) Helps her out in household chores and talks to her while doing them

9) Promises her he would never do something and he never would.

10) Carries her on his back when the roads are flooded and says, “You can still grow fatter you know?” (omg, how sweet is this?)

11) Wouldn’t walk out of a fight

12) Would admit it when he’s wrong

13) Laughs when she laughs

14) Willing to go shopping with her with no complaints

15) CLEAN CUT APPEARANCE and HYGENIC! (veryyyyyy important!!)

16) Helps her open bottle caps when she can’t do so

17) Tells her that he’s there for her all the time, 24/7

18) Knows that she likes to sit shoe-less in the car and places a soft rug in the car just for her.

19) Wouldn’t neglect her for his online friends or games

20) When in a fight and she demands back all the things she gave him, he would refuse no matter what

21) Would always know how to get to a destination because he knows she’s a road idiot by nature

22) Talks to her when she can’t sleep

23) Drinks from her cup even though she has a flu and he might catch what she has

24) Likes whatever she buys for him and uses them all

Alrighty, I think 30 is about enough though there are like a hundred different things that women want from men listed in the email. Most of them, I picked cause it would be what I would want from my man.

Guys might think that its ridiculous what girls sometimes expect from them. Which is probably why man are from mars and girls from venus. But some of the stuff are really important to us. Stuff like remembering special occasions, stuff like hugging them from behind for no reason, stuff like keeping cleannnnn (for me la! hahaha).

But I think the most important thing a girl wants from a guy, is his undivided love and attention. Because when he loves her, thats all that really matters and nothing else (not even his stinky bad habits) can take away from that love.

So love your girlfriend, your spouse well. Because though she may nag sometimes and she might seem to be the most irritating person on earth on certain days, she’s the one that will remember your likes and dislikes, she’s the one that sees you for who you really are and not what you show to people on the surface.
